Malvinas is an art/rock/noise/punk/riot grrrl/jamboree/feminist band from Syracuse, NY. They are based in the work of Malvina Reynolds (b. 1900, USA), a folk singer/songwriter whose intersectional approach to social, political, and environmental justice continues to provide wisdom and inspiration. Their songs are ahistorical interpretations of folk, labor, and social justice music as inspired by punk, riot grrl, feminism, and daily life.

The members of the Malvinas are Andrea Buckvold, Jennifer Jeffery, Zeke Leonard, Stefanie Noble, Jessica Posner, Joanna Spitzner, and Sarah Whitehouse.
